Description:

The CT is designed for use with the galvanic RF isolator, enabling quickand simple wireless deployments in hazardous areas. The CT is easily fitted to anexplosion proof enclosure containing the galvanic RF isolator, ensuring the RF ports of standard wireless radio devices are protected by the intrinsic safety concept and enabling theuse of simple apparatus antennas in Zone 1 / Division 1 environments.

The CT provides an IP66 industry standard ‘Type N’ RF connection, eliminating the need to make off cable glands – saving time and money. Users can simply live connect and disconnect thewireless antenna of their choice, giving greater flexibility and less downtime.

-CT must be used with suitably rated ATEX/IECEx approved intrinsically safe apparatus or associated apparatus, appropriate for the zone in which the equipment is to be installed.
