The antenna has been evaluated by engineers to meet the international intrinsic safety standards for simple equipment.
This means that when they are connected to properly certified wireless devices with intrinsically safe RF outputs, they can be safely used in hazardous areas.
When the antenna is connected to an intrinsically safe radio frequency source, it cannot be used in a hazardous area.
Easy to install
The antenna can be easily mounted directly on the N-type chassis connector. The 216F has an N-type female connector and a stainless steel L-shaped bracket for remote installation.
Optimized for WLAN applications
The 216 antenna is optimized for WLAN installation in the 2.4GHz/5.8GHz spectrum of IEEE802.11 b/g/n/ac wireless network or 2.4GHz/5.8GHz wireless mesh Ethernet.
The dual-band function ensures that users can simultaneously install the latest hardware that utilizes both 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz frequencies, or change the operating frequency of wireless devices without replacing the antenna.
Indoor and outdoor use
The antenna can be used indoors and outdoors. They are made of durable UV-resistant glass fibers and have good thermal shock resistance.
The degree of protection of the antenna is IP67 and the temperature range is -40°C to +85°C, suitable for most applications.
