Explosion-Proof Installation Isn’t Just About Fitting It. It’s About Doing It Right and Proving It.
The Explosion-Proof Electrical Equipment Installation Practice Course returns to Central Taiwan on December 22–23, 2026, in Taichung. Organized by a Taiwan industrial and commercial safety and health association (台灣省工商安全衛生協會), with technical support from YuDa Group and ExTW and co-organized by SanTzuoo (SANCTITY), the two-day, 14-hour course combines classroom instruction with hands-on practice, taking participants through the full workflow from equipment identification and installation to sealing, earthing and installation quality verification.
What Will You Learn in Two Days and 14 Hours?
The course breaks down the steps where explosion-proof installation most often goes wrong. Day 1 builds the fundamentals of explosion protection and hazardous areas, then moves straight into installing equipment, cable glands and seal fittings. Day 2 covers earthing, cable support, and assembly and disassembly, finishing with torque-based quality verification, a written examination and a practical assessment.
Participants who complete both days and pass the written examination and practical assessment receive a certificate of completion. No tools are required; all tools and materials for the practical sessions are provided.

Explosion-Proof Quality Is Never One Person’s Job. Who Should Attend?
From design and installation to acceptance and maintenance, any step can become a weak point in explosion protection. These three roles will each take away the practical skills they need most.
- M&E contractors, electrical contractors and field installers: learn compliant installation methods, from cable entry and sealing to bolt tightening, so every job holds up to acceptance checks and audits.
- Facility managers and maintenance engineers: build a full-lifecycle view of Ex equipment maintenance that starts with installation quality, reducing downtime and extending equipment life.
- Design, supervision and procurement staff: gain a sound basis for selection and acceptance, from hazardous area classification to identifying certified equipment, so the right equipment ends up in the right place and can be verified.
